I have been a member of Rigs Fitness since day 1 and was lucky enough to see things taking shape before the grand opening. The facility is excellent. I am primarily training for Strongman competitions particularly Britain’s Strongest Man in 2014, but also a number of other events leading up to then. I have decided to base my #projectstrongman training at Rigs and couldn’t be more impressed. The facilities are excellent, the variety of suitable equipment superb and most of all the encouragement and knowledge from Sam and the team is a massive motivator.
The variety of members and disciplines means that your eyes are opened to other areas away from your usual routine that can complement your schedule and bring functional fitness and conditioning to whatever exercises you are used to.
I think the best thing about Rigs is that it is not an intimidating environment, all skill, strength, ability and fitness levels are catered for, so whether you are a committed athlete or just trying to get into shape Rigs provides a friendly encouraging environment. I haven’t summoned up the courage to do some sparring yet, but I am working on it!!
