**3 Hours of Olympic Weightlifting coached by some of the best athletes in the country**
On Saturday 3rd March 2014, Rigs Fitness will be hosting a Team Exertrain weightlifting workshop with some of the countries best lifters in attendance & coaching on the day, including:
– TEAM EXERTRAIN
– CHRIS FREEBURY, British Weightlifting Superstar
– CONOR MURPHY, S&C Coach, and CrossFit Athlete
– BETH HOGGARTH, CrossFit Athlete & Coach
– JOHN HANNA, English Champion Weightlifter
The focus of the day will be on correct lifting technique, taught by those who are currently excelling in their individual fields. Providing Expert Coaching, Movement Analysis, Movement Control, Explosive Power Development and Expert Demonstrations and allowing you to learn from both the coaches and like minded individuals.
The benefits of Olympic Weightlifting are insurmountable. Both classical Olympic Lifts combine coordination, strength and power, as well as flexibility. Real world athletic function doesn’t just require a big squat, the rate at which you can recruit muscles and apply maximal force is of much higher importance.
But what does that mean for you!? A bigger vertical jump, faster reactions, explosiveness, power….. – all the good stuff!
The workshop will be suitable for all levels of ability and no prior experience in Olympic Weightlifting is needed.
